I just want to say that I’ve re-published 4 posts from Flowershock.com at twistedstars.org, one of my new sites.

The Opposite World

July 26th, 2011 | Personal, Uncategorized | 0 Comments

A lot of thoughts have gone trough my head since Friday. I still have problems believing that something like that could happen here; not in my own country, but in my actual home town, and even worse: I could actually hear it, and my family says that the house was shaking.

I think you would get the same answer, no matter who you might ask here in Oslo. It’s a combination between shock and sorrow. There is a risk that no one will ever be the same again. The dream of Norway as a small, peaceful community where nothing happens is gone forever. It’s impossible to travel back in time, in order to change it.

I’ll also give you some thoughts of mine related to opposites. As you already know, a lot of opposites were created last Friday, and the most obvious one, as I mentioned earlier, is the change from a peaceful and innocent Norway to a nation in shock. People are shocked, surprised and they’re feeling sad. Me too. But it’s impossible to describe the change that happened in less than a few hours -and I’ll not try.

Raspberries

This image shows a small section of what was more than 7 kilograms of raspberries in total. There is a farm nearby that offers self-gathering for a lot less compared to the supermarket prizes, and we went there today.

I’m happy because I love raspberries so much! They’re my favourite type of berries.

I’m BACK!!!

I think I’ll be back for now, but with a different touch. I’ll focus more on writing and less on photography as I’ve become more and more fascinated with writing. Also; the English language is my favourite language to write in as there are plenty of ways to express oneself in English compared to Norwegian. Also, I sometimes find it easier to create those wonderful and dreamy moments in the English language.

Also; this blog will also be dedicated to the Japanese language. I’m trying to learn Japanese, and I’ll be writing about that too. Probably not as much about the actual language itself, but more about learning materials and the complete process.
I’ve been learning Japanese for a few months now, but I started more or less seriously about a month ago. The Japanese language is such a beautiful language, and I love the sound of it. Also, me already being interested in typography, might turn into “me taking a look at Japanese calligraphy”. I do also have two books about Japan I’m going to read; one is called “Japans Historia”, and is a Swedish book about Japanese history, and the other one is about the Japansese tea ceremony. I think that will be pretty cool!

That’s all for now, but I’ll be writing more soon!

Hello world!
