Originally, post 04 and 05 should be about family members. However, I don’t want to do that, and therefore I’m not going to do so.

So; I’ve changed the topics for today and tomorrow. Today, I’ll just mention the change, and why I did it, while tomorrow I’m going to discuss the topic of sharing pictures of others online.

Anyway, there are several reasons why I decided to change these two topics.

1.  First of all; It’s my blog, and I don’t want to write about others here without discussing it with them first.
2. Secondly; Family is a personal thing. I love my family, but I don’t want to share information about them on the WWW.
3. Last but not least: They don’t know much about my blog, and I don’t want to mention it for them. For example, they know that I have a blog, but they don’t know the URL.

As you hopefully know, my blog’s name is Flowershock. The only meaning my blog name has is the fact that I like flowers (mainly to photograph, I don’t know much about what different flowers are called and so on). ” Shock” comes from a combination of randomness and an overload of flowers. You can say that the blog’s name means a huge amount of flowers or something like that.

I know most blogs have a name to reflect upon a stronger interest, the blogger’s name or something that happened at one point in their life. My blog’s name, on the other hand, isn’t anything personal.

However, I like my blog’s name a lot. I’ve been having this domain for quite some time now, and I love the name more and more every day. It’s not an ordinary blog name, right?

I just want to say that I’ve re-published 4 posts from Flowershock.com at twistedstars.org, one of my new sites.

So, today I decided to try Flickr. The main reason is quite obvious and simple, I guess; I have basically seen so many people using the site, so I thought it would be interesting to try.

Well, my account on Flickr is called BubblePopRainbow. Anyway, I haven’t uploaded that many pictures yet, but I think the fact that my account is only a few hours old explains everything.

This is a picture of the pascha (Russian cheese-dessert-meal-thing) that I helped my grandma with. It tasted lovely (I got to try tasting it before everyone else), but I’m so excited and curious about the final result. I will get the answer tomorrow, when we are going to eat it.

Nevertheless, I also want to say that I have a YouTube account that is also called BubblePopRainbow. However, I haven’t uploaded any videos yet, but I have added some to my favourites.

I just want to tell you about my portfolio that  I created.  I thought it would be cool to have a portfolio if someone might be interested. I don’t know, but here is the link:

I need to write something, but I don’t know what to write. Interesting. Hmm…

Let me try to promise something: I will try to update more, and try to privide more different content, as in not only photography. I think I will try writing more about language learning (I’m trying to learn Japanese and Finnish!!), makeup (hello, I’m a girl) and other things I might think of.

Finally, the Internet connection is back and possible to use again. This also means that I can update FlowerShock again.
