A wee bit late, but..
This one is also a bit hard. I’ve been travelling to so many places -all over Europe, to lots of different countries.
Well, my favourite country so far has to be Denmark. I’m a total Denmark freak, and going to Denmark makes me happy. The Danish countryside is one of the most beautiful countrysides I’ve ever seen. I can’t really describe it, it’s like a relaxing, yet inspiring atmosphere that I haven’t seen any other place. It’s so quiet and organised compared to the Norwegian countryside which is full of valleys. I’m basically in love with the Danish countryside landscape.

This picture was taken in Northern Jutland, Denmark, and Denmark makes me happy! I’m a huge Denmark-lover, and my favourite region is surprisingly enough Northern Jutland!
Well, let’s get started!

Här är jag! Picture taken with my webcam today.

The Danish flag

We visited a village I have been in many times before as well, and this wall is a part of a church that they have taken down large pieces from. It stands on a cliff wich gradually falls down, and they believe that it has been another village where the ocean is today.
Well, these pictures are the last ones from Denmark. I came home yesterday, after about 7 hours by car and 2 hours by boat, as well as visiting three countries (Denmark, Sweden and Norway).
Q: What’s your record when it comes to visiting a certain number of countries in less than 12 hours (you need to be able to take a break where you for example eat or just relax. If you travel by plane, it counts when you visit the country’s airport)?
I saw these horses while visiting an about 5000 year-old ruin.

The pictures were taken while the horses were fed. When one got some food, the other one tried to steal some of it from the other one’s mouth.
I have fallen in love with Syddjurs! Everything is so beautiful, stunning and (I don’t have words to describe it). It’s just incredible beautiful.

The beach and the farming areas are so close!

The signs says that this is a private road and that access by unauthorized persons is discouraged.
The last one says that the speed limit is 20 kilometres per hour, but I guess you understood that.

Flowers in the roadside.
Today, I’m finally at the destination where my family and I are going to spend our holidays. Last night I was in Gothenburg. I had a great time, and it was fun to see something I hadn’t seen in many years. I decided also that I wanted to start reading something in Swedish, so we bought two Swedish novels.
However, I’m not in Sweden anymore. If you have had a look at what ferry trips Stena Line offers from Gothenburg, you might have heard about the one to Frederikshavn. Yes, I’m in Denmark! In the Southern Djursland area, to be more precise.
It did rain today as well, but not at much as it did yesterday. It blew more today. I could see huge waves inside the Gothernburg harbour area, and when we were at the sea, it was almost impossible to do something that don’t involve chairs or something to hold on to.
Yesterday was my last day at secondary school. The whole graduation ceremony went fine. Some received their diploma with the wrong hand (it’s possible), but luckily I didn’t. The whole ceremony, with entertainment included, lasted for about two hours. After the ceremony, we went to a classroom and celebrated with old pictures, food and speeches. I ate pasta salad and cake.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t allowed by my parents to bring my dSLR, and my other digital camera didn’t have a loaded battery, so I wasn’t able to take any pictures. Anyway; the room was decorated very nicely, you were almost not able to tell it was a classroom.
It is still werid. All those people were amazing, and I do not even know if I will see all of them ever again.
On the other hand; I think this summer will be special. I am going to meet many of my Norwegian relatives (Honestly, I did almost not even know I had some. I’m only 1/4 Norwegian). I will also travel to a country I haven’t been to in 12 years (when I was around 4 years old). I will also travel to Denmark (which I have been to quite many times) and another place in Norway.
Flowers means summer to me. I hope these images will give you that “summer feeling” as well.
